Our old friends the Carducci Quartet, who last played for us in Sept
2012, are spending much of 2015 playimg all of the 15 quartets of
Shostakovich to mark the 40th anniversary of his death. They will
play the complete cycle in cities as diverse as London, Oxford,
Cork, Washington DC and Bogota. We were delighted to be invited
to host one leg of a cycle spread between concert clubs in the West
of England.
