The original Smetana Piano Trio was founded in the
1930s by pianist Josef Palenicek and that tradition is
continued as his son Jan is still cellist of the current
line-up. We are delighted to welcome them to
Bromsgrove to play works by two major Czech
composers as well as the classic 1914 trio by
Maurice Ravel
