The Fitzwilliam Quartet were regular visitors to Bromsgrove Concerts in the late 1970s and early 1980s - a time when they had a pivotal role in getting the Shostakovich Quartets accepted into the repertoire. We are delighted to welcome them back in a fascinating programme based on
music written during the two World Wars.
