The Solem Quartet premiered Edmund Finnis’ 3rd Quartet ‘Devotion’at the Norwich Festival in May this year. It was partly influenced by the slow movement of Beethoven’s Op 132 - also in their programme for us. Their recording of the Finnis will feature on their forthcoming CD ‘Painted Light - due to be issued around the time of our concert.
