We welcome back our friends the Gould Piano Trio. This Haydn Trio, although from late in his life, is not often performed. The novelty this time is the Trio by the early romantic German composer Heinrich Marschner - whose trios the Goulds are scheduled to record. .Smetana’s Trio was written in 1855 – in grief shortly after both his daughters had died from illnesses
