Richard Jenkinson is very well known to local audiences in many
capacities - especially as principal cello of the CBSO, as a member of the
Dante Quartet and as Music Director of the Orchestra of St John.
Benjamin Frith has appeared locally as a concerto soloist and as a
member of the Gould Piano Trio. Their duo partnership dates back to
1996 and their first CD as a duo, “The Moon Sails Out”, released in
2015, includes the three Ian Venables pieces they will be playing for us.
