We had planned and advertised in our season booklet to use the Callino Quartet, who last came to us in 2009. But unfortunately two members became unavailable so we now welcome back the Benyounes Quartet with a slightly modified programme, who last played for us in 2016. The two John Woolrich works are part of his current 'project' - 'A Book of Inventions' - a collection of ten short string quartets which can be played individually or in combination. The Benyounes are also playing Villanesca. John has been involved in the selection of the Mozart and Beethoven works to frame his quartet
