Illuminate Women's Music
Shining a light on the work of women composers from both the past and present. Illuminate Women's Music is led by women composers in residence, including Angela Slater. Good to know also that Angela Slater, featured composer, has been commissioned by the CBSO, for a concert in 2023. Their performances generate sparkling reviews and for us a delightful programme which includes Rebecca Clarke whose work we enjoyed at our last two concerts. Interestingly, the Saariaho piece is for soprano and electronics.
