Founded in 2002 at the Royal Northern College of Music, the Navarra Quartet won 1st prize at the 2005 Florence Competition and 2nd Prize at the 2007 Melbourne Competition. In 2010 they were invited to record Vasks’ first 3 quartets in the presence of the composer.
