Formed 25 years ago as an offshoot of The Medieval Players theatre group, The Carnival Band have gradually expanded their expertise to include other musics and other instruments . They tell us that one of their performances is a "Kaleidoscope of instrumental colours, musical influences and moods, sustained by superb musical skill and enlivened with humour" . All this plus a ‘Christmassy tinge’ in the second half of their concert for us.
