This will be the fourth time the Carducci Qt – whose line-up is made up of two married couples – have played for us. On their last visit, in 2015, they played an all-Shostakovich programme which was part of their year long commemoration of the 40th anniversary of his death This time we have one more of his quartets, but in a mixed programme which will end our season with Dvorak’s perennially popular ‘American’ Quartet
