This Mini-Festival of Simpson recordings features Mark Bebbington playing the Haydn Variations and Robert Matthew-Walker being interviewed by Mark and giving insights into this work and many others by the composer whom he knew well. This is a substantial and informative interview (43 minutes). We are also giving renewed access to the Tippett's recording of String Quartet No 1 that Bromsgrove Concerts featured to coincide with the actual Simpson Centenary on March 2nd. So you get three recordings, and three separate links.
